2. Also referred to as drive pin anchors(drive rivets), the hammer drive anchors are the ideal solution for medium duty
applications into concrete or brick. Known by the name hammer drive because of its need of a “hammer” to “drive” the anchor into position;
3. Size: Metric M6*40mm(50pcs set) and M6*50mm(35pcs set), head diameter both 15mm(19/32“);
4. Application: This anchor is commonly used for permanent applications into masonry surfaces. With medium load capacity these anchors are perfect for securing drywall tracks, gutters to the side of buildings and Brackets into concrete.
Installation Instructions
NINDEJIN Hammer Drive Anchors are available in 1/4" diameters, and up to 1 1/2" and 2" long, if you need other sizes, please contact us. The hole diameter required for a Hammer Drive Anchor is equal to the diameter of the anchor, installing hammer drive anchors can be completed in four simple steps:
1. Using a hammer drill and a properly sized carbide tipped drill bit, drill a hole in the base material 1/4" deeper than the
expected embedment of the Hammer Drive Anchor;
2. Clean out the hole of all debris;
3. Insert the anchor through the hole in the fixture and into the hole in the base material;
4. Using a hammer, hit the nail into the hammer drive anchor until the head is flush with the top of the anchor.
Can concrete drive anchors be removed?
Hammer drive anchors are designed not to come out. They cannot be removed without damaging the concrete they are installed in. The Wedge anchor can be cut off at the surface using a hacksaw or cut off saw.
